Faculty of Engineering-University of Kragujevac

Faculty of Engineering of Kragujevac (MFKG), Serbia, was founded in 1960 and since then it has grown into a mature and dynamic educational and scientific institution with recognizable trace, reach tradition, stately results and high reputation in the world and in the country. The curriculum is based on the basic, applied and development engineering disciplines like: thermodynamics, material science, machine elements, metal machining, informatics, electrical engineering and computer applications. Faculty prepares its students for the activities in the machine and processing industry, for research and innovative work, for independent activities, exclusive jobs, their own business, design and informatics. Scientific-research activities at the Faculty are organized through 5 departments, 9 laboratories and 24 research centers. Engineering Software Lab (SOFTLAB), founded in 1976, and Center for Information Technology (CIT), founded in 2002, will represent the Faculty in this project.

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Kraljevo - University of Kragujevac

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Kraljevo (MFKV) is located at town Kraljevo in Central Serbia. With 70,000 inhabitants, Kraljevo is an little industrial city with one very big metal processing company (Wagon Factory Kraljevo) and several medium-small wood processing factories (as the associate GIR). The Faculty itself is also small, with 50 teaching staff and around 300 students. This combination of a small faculty in a relatively small town is a well-scaled solution for testing a different approach of collaboration between university and industry, being that both the Faculty and industry represent flexible units with good mutual connections. Infrastructure at the Faculty is well-developed, being that acts as independent node of academic internet network, providing services to local education institution. The Faculty carries out education and research in areas of manufacturing engineering and construction of heavy machinery, aimed mainly to support development of local industry.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Banja Luka Region

The Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka will have the fundamental role to spread and promote concepts and outcomes all over the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), especially referring to the industrial and economical entities existing in the country. Supported by the University of Banja Luka, they will organize series of meetings and workshops, take part in publishing and distribution of leaflets and other printed information, publishing information on project progress and results on its website. Moreover, the Chamber of Commerce (and its entrepreneurial membership) will assume a significant role of addressing and orientation for the whole project by supporting the University of Banja Luka in its action on the territory toward the development of new relations with business partners and society. The Chamber of Commerce will have additional role to recommend to companies in BiH the use of the two ICT platforms as tools for a modern way of collaboration.

Faculty of Electronic Engineering Niš

From the distant 1960 till today, the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš has become one huge family of students, professors, associates, researchers and non teaching staff. University of Rijeka - Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, established in 1960, with its 10 Departments, 34 Chairs, 46 Laboratories, a Computer Centre and Library is today a modern Higher-Education and Scientific Institution. The Faculty carries out university and vocational undergraduate and university graduate courses in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture and Electrical Engineering, and has also established the third cycle of a three-year scientific study program to earn the academic title of Doctor of Science in the field of engineering sciences, i.e. in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture and other basic engineering sciences. About 2600 graduate engineers and over 1400 engineers have earned their degree at the Faculty. Development of scientific-research and teaching portfolio rendered possible for the Faculty of Engineering to coordinate its activities with the streamlines of EU Lisbon strategy and Bologna Process

Regional Chamber of Commerce Kragujevac

Regional Chamber of Commerce Kragujevac is an independent professional business association, promoting interests of enterprises, entrepreneurship and other forms of organizations involved in the economic activity on the territory of the Central Serbia region bound by common business interests. The area covered by the RCC Kragujevac includes enterprises from the territory of two counties with 13 municipalities. RCC Kragujevac offers to the businesses a wide range of services, provides professional support to its members, promote their production programs at fairs and exhibitions both in the country and abroad, establish cooperation among domestic and foreign partners through width chamber network system. Chamber, possess own data base (Register of enterprises, Register of shops, Data of import and export, financial indicators, Investment location database) in which can be found data about 4.000 active enterprises and about 17.000 shops from territory of RCC Kragujevac.

University of Banja Luka—Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Almost four decades of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, its vision and practices implemented at the highest level of education and research in the field of mechanical engineering. Knowledge and needs of society and the economy influence the design of modern educational programs. Quality education is always a certain force of fundamental and applied research. As one of the oldest universities and the founder of the University of Banja Luka, this Faculty has not just educated more than 1,500 mechanical engineers, but often it is a leader in implementing new technologies. The five programs of study, 48 teachers and assistants, 12 laboratory, 5 amphitheaters, computer centers, library and wireless Internet, this Faculty is one of the most important institutions of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina technical professions. The Faculty has a very fruitful cooperation with industry. Numerous research and technological projects marked the forty year history of the university.

University of Montenegro - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

The University of Montenegro is a university located in Podgorica, Montenegro. It was founded in 1974 and is organized in 20 Faculties. The University will participate to the project mainly by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The Faculty trains professionals of all levels and scientific competence from graduate engineers, over specialists and masters of science to PhDs in mechanical engineering. The Faculty also engages in research and design of new production solutions, investigates and attests machines, assemblies and industrial plants elements and provides other services in the field of mechanical engineering. Specifically, the activities will be performed by researcher coming for the areas of production machine engineering, mechanization, applied mechanics and construction, mechanical wood processing.

CNA Provincial Associations of Ravenna

The National Confederation of the Craft Sector and Small and Medium Enterprises (CNA) is a huge system of over 105 provincial associations present on the Italian territory, with over 9,000 people operating in 1250 locations for more than 400,000 members. The CNA has a national headquarters in Rome and one in Brussels. The CNA represents the craft in many organizations, institutes, commissions, including: CNEL, ICE, INPS, INAIL, Haulers tree. It is present in commissions and working groups of ministries: Ministry of Culture and Environment, of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Foreign Trade and Community Policies, Finance, Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts, Labor and Social Security, Public Works, Provincial and regional commissions Crafts. The CNA system has three co federal level: provincial, regional and national levels. CNA Ravenna is in charge to implement the action with the aim to maximize the impact on the Adriatic area.

Friuli Innovazione, Research and Technology Transfer Center

Friuli Innovazione is a public-private consortium with a majority of its members represented by local public bodies. It has been started already in 1999 with the aim to favour the link between the University and the enterprises. Since 2005 it has been engaged in the management of the Science and Technology Park of Udine and the ICT Incubator. The area is equipped for the settlement of research laboratories, mixed university-business laboratories, competence centres, industrial spin offs and start ups. Currently, the staff is composed by 13 employed, all graduated in scientific and economic fields, and external experts/researchers are mobilized for specific purposes when needed. To favour the link between University and enterprises Friuli Innovazione provides assistance in Technology Transfer, Enterprise funding and Enterprise development.

Venetian Cluster of Cultural and environmental Heritage

The Venetian Cluster of Cultural and Environmental Heritage was born on the basis of the Regional Laws in order to incentivize the development of the whole sector of cultural and environmental heritage (research, restoration, conservation and valorisation, technologies for energy efficiency, sustainability assessment, etc) and to support companies operating in these sectors in research, development valorisation and internationalization processes. The Cluster is the only productive cluster of cultural and environmental heritage in Italy. The main target is to promote and coordinate national and international projects encouraging the collaboration between companies and institutions operating in these sectors. Until today more than 300 firms acceded to the Cluster, with their 5685 employees and more than 1.700.000 euro sales; over 24 of the most important Venetian Institutions for conservation, protection and promotion of cultural heritage are Cluster members.

Italian Consortium for Tools Manufacturing - UTECO

The consortium Uteco was founded in June 2006: the consortium is affiliate to the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Pesaro and Urbino to the sector artisans. The consortium doesn't have ends of profit, the purpose of the consortium is that to develop a series of initiatives and activities in the sector of the builders of utensils for the wood and generally metals. Particularly the consortium promotes and develops common commercial strategies to facilitate the commercial penetration of the enterprises pooled all in the market inside and on the foreign markets. Besides the consortium promotes the issue on the market of the products of the enterprises pooled through the development of a common image of products "Made in Italy". The consortium promotes the predisposition and the release of collective marks of quality directs to distinguish and to qualify the products of the pooled enterprises.
